COVID-19: ASMI Adjustments to Office Operations:

As more agencies move to telework and have limited personnel in the office, ASMI remains open and available to support our mining industry members. We are adjusting the current process as follows: 

ASMI provided services including, but not limited to responding to voicemail, emails, requests for MSHA training, requests for State ID will be processed as soon as possible. All emergency calls will be responded to immediately by the appropriate individual.

MSHA Training is being held in class sizes of 9 students and 1 instructor in order to follow the recommended state and federal guidelines. 

Please continue to email ([email protected]) and/or Fax (602) 542-5335) Quarterly Reports and Lost Time Accidents when due or as incident occurs.   

ASMI staff will respond as soon as possible to all inquiries or requests.

Annual Refresher and New Miner  MSHA Training classes will be decreased to no more than 10 students per class until further notice. 

1. Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people. 

2. Do not gather in groups  

3. Stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings 

4. Face masks are required to attend all MSHA Training Classes.
